Everybody grab a clipboard, paper and pencil! We are off for a Neighborhood Adventure.
COUNT ALL THE BIRDS YOU SEE.
NAME OTHER ANIMALS YOU SEE.
WRITE DOWN FIVE SOUNDS YOU HEAR.
GUESS WHERE DIFFERENT SMELLS ARE COMING FROM AND WHAT THEY ARE.
LIFT UP A ROCK OR BRANCH LYING ON THE GROUND. DO YOU SEE ANY INSECTS?
WRITE DOWN FIVE OBJECTS AND TELL THEIR COLORS.
FIND THINGS THAT ARE MADE OUT OF WOOD, PLASTIC, CEMENT, ROCK AND METAL.
FIND THINGS THAT ARE SMOOTH, ROUGH, AND PRICKLY.
TALK ABOUT HOW THE WEATHER FEELS (WINDY, HOT, COLD, WET).
READ ALL THE SIGNS YOU SEE.
READ THE NUMBERS ON THE HOUSES AND BUILDINGS.
WHEN YOU RETURN HOME, DRAW A PICTURE ABOUT YOUR ADVENTURE!
